My name is Babucarr Sanyang, alias Babu. I am a young man 40 years of age and Gambian by nationality. I am  a well trained professional birdguide and freelance official tourist guide (OGT). Trained by the the government of Gambia and licensed by The Gambia Tourism Authority.
I have 17 years of working experience guiding tourists to the Smiling Coast of West Afrika.

1997 - Present

The Gambia Birdwatching Guides Association in The Gambia

After my training I was enrolled in The Gambia Birdwatching Guides Association. The only recommended birdwatching Guides Association under the Gambia Tourist Board.

2003 - Present

Deployed at The Senegambia Area

I have my own compagny for years but I work together with another group of fantastic birdguides near the Senegambia Hotel and the Kairaba Hotel. So if I’m not available.

About Me

I’m married with one wife and we have six children. My wife’s name is Kura Touray Sanyang. My first child, a boy, who is named Muhammed Sanyang is 12 years old. My second child, a girl, is named Haddijatou and is 10 years old, My third child, girl, Jarrie is 8 years old en my forth child ,girl, Isatou 5 years of age. They all are visiting school. And finally the two small ones Babucarr a boy of 3 years old and Sally, the youngest one, who is 1 year and 10 months.
